How do I delete Mafia Wars from my Facebook?

So I joined a Mafia Wars invite and played for a minute. Now I want it off. I went to application settings and removed the app.
I am still getting notifications each time someone I know does something with their Mafia Wars account.
How do I completely remove this app?

Try to go to the Mafia Wars website and click on "block the app." Report Abuse
i guess its the "news feed".
in your Facebook, click Home. when there's news about the gave, hover that person, u'll see button, block "Mafia Wars", just below your friend name. Report Abuse
After going to the settings tab near the LOG OUT button, Go to APPLICATION SETTINGS remove MAFIA WARS, Now go to the notifications popup and click it, press SEE ALL, in here you can mark the notification as SPAM, or stop it. Report Abuse
